India To Play 3 ODIs Against Zimbabwe From 18th August

On Thursday, August 18th, India and Zimbabwe will play the first One-Day International at Harare Sports Club. They will play two more one-day internationals against Zimbabwe on the 20th and 22nd of August at the same location.

He was supposed to play the West Indies Series after recovering from a sports hernia surgery. But, he tested positive for Covid 19.

Based on further evaluation, the BCCI Medical Team has given KL Rahul the all-clear to play in all three of the ODI matches scheduled for the upcoming series in Zimbabwe.

He will lead the team as captain, with Shikhar Dhawan as his number two, as decided by the All-India Senior Selection Committee.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami will not play in this series because they were given rest.

However, Bumrah is currently sidelined by a back injury and will not be participating in the Asia Cup, which begins in the United Arab Emirates on August 27.
