Delhi: August 16: India reported 32,937 new Covid Positive cases and 417 deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours.
With 417 new deaths, total death toll in the country rose to 4,31,642.
35,909 patients recovered from the infection in last 24 hours and with this, the total recovered cases number touched 3,14,11,924. Recovery rate improves further and it is 97.48 percent today. This is the highest recovery rate since March’2020, Health Ministry says.

India’s Active caseload declines to 3,81,947 on Monday, which is lowest in 145 days.
Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5% and currently, it is 2.01 per cent.
Daily positivity rate stands at at 2.79%; less than 3% for last 21 days
54.58 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
Testing capacity substantially ramped up. So far, 49.48 Cr tests total conducted.
