India’s COVID tally crosses 47 lakh mark; Total death toll rises to 78,586

Bhubaneswar: September 13: India registered 94,372 fresh COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours, pushing the total cases to 47,54, 356. Also, 1,112 persons died due to the infection in last 24 hours and the total death toll in the Country increased to 78,586.

According to Health Ministry’s data, 78,399 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours and the number of total recoveries in India reached 37,02,595. At present, the recovery rate stands at 77.88 per cent. Also, the fatality rate has come down to 1.65 per cent.

At present,  9,73,175 active cases are there in the Country.

According to the data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India conducted 10,71,702 sample tests on Saturday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 5,62,60,928.
