Mumbai:
The judicial custody of Indrani Mukherjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai – all accused in the murder of Sheena Bora three years ago –was on Mondayextended by a court till October 19.
Khanna and Rai were produced at the Esplanade Court here via video-conferencing while jail officials sent Indrani’s warrant to the court in view of her hospitalisation at state-run JJ.
Indrani was admitted to the hospital on Friday in an unconscious after alleged overdose of anti-depressant pills.
The 43-year-old Indrani, however, has regained consciousness on Sunday and is now “out of danger”.
