Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: Intelligence Director Sunil Roy, DIG Prateek Mohanty and IG Swapna Tiwari visited Bargarh on Tuesday to check the preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
Police DG K.B Singh was there to scrutinize the ground of the event. BJP leader Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo was also present during the inspection.
Meanwhile the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) had held a preparatory meeting on Monday to ensure a hassle-free visit of the Prime Minister.
Notably, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan had also visited Bargarh on Sunday to review the preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit on February 21.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Bargarh on February 21 and address a farmers’ rally.
