Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has assured investors in hospitality sector all help.
Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati gave this assurance to a delegation of hospitality sector which called on him at State secretariat here on Thursday.
Principal Secretary, Tourism Laxmi Narayan Gupta, informed the delegation about the potential available in Odisha for investment in tourism sector.
The chief secretay suggested the delegation to set up hotels and allied hospitality facilities at tourist spots such as Shamuka, Malatipatapur and other locations.
Notably, on September 17 Gupta while interacting with the investors in New Delhi had briefed about the possibilities of investment in Odisha’s tourism sector. Based on the Secretary’s feedback, the investors today submitted their proposals to the Chief Secretary.
Prominent among the leaders in country’s hospitality sectors those who have shown interest for investment in Odisha are Hilton, Mariott, Brahmaputra, Lemon Tree, Haldiram, Newport, Holiday Inn”, said Gupta. The delegation will visit several tourist spots tomorrow, he added.
