Dhenkanal, Nov 3: On Wednesday, while on his way to submit a memorandum to the District Collectors BJP leaders Rudra Narayan Pany, Samir Mohanty and Bibhuti Pradhan along with the workers emerged into a clash with the police.
The incident happened at the Odisha’s district headquarters town. When reached there, erect on the absent of the Collector, the workers tried to thrust ahead into the office but were balked by the police. However some workers managed to enter into the premises and started banging the Collector’s office door which led to the clash between the police and the workers. After the intervention of senior BJP leaders the situation was brought under control.
Earlier, on Wednesday, thousands of supporters took part in a rally held by BJP which was followed with a public meeting in front of the Collector’s office, before submitting the memorandum.
