Malkangiri, Oct23: In a case of accumulating disproportionate assets, the residence of Himanshu Sekhar Panda, Junior engineer of Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) posted in Malkangiri, Odisha was raided by the anti-corruption wing officials on Sunday.
The raids were conducted simultaneously in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and three more places.
As per the information, Panda has more than six bank accounts having bank deposits of more than Rs 90 lakh, two licensed guns registered in his name, which have been seized by the Vigilance. Apart from this, a luxury car, cash with gold jewellery and scooter has also been seized by the Vigilance sleuths.
Panda’s multi-storey building in Cuttack’s CDA sector-9 has also been discovered by the Vigilance.
However, Vigilance sleuths are yet to catch hold of Panda.
