Puri, Aug 27: Chief Administrator of Sri Jagannath Temple, Suresh Mohapatra informed the media that the repairing of Jagamohan, the hall facing the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Jagannath Temple will be completed on a permanent basis before the starting of Odisha’s holy month of Kartik.
This had been decided yesterday in a meeting of SJTA in the presence of Puri king, Divyasingha Deb. It’s stated that the meeting also evaluated the Rath Yatra held in July and checked all the CCTV footage beginning from Snana Yatra to that of Niladri Bije. Servitors were not present in the meeting. The meeting also ensured that the rituals of the deities are carried out in systematically timely manner.
