Jagmohan repair case: Technical team to ASI to visit Puri today

Puri, May 23: With the deadline of the repair work of Jagmohan at the Shri Jagannath temple coming nearer, a technical team of the Archaeological Survey of India will today visit the Puri temple to review the construction progress of the same.

The team today, will hold a meeting at the Puri ASI office to map out the blueprint, consisting of the design, drawings and the estimates of the roof. The DG, ASI, acting on the instruction of the chief justice of Orissa High Court has already approved the proposal of mending the cracks in the temple hall and thus protecting its roof.

Once the design is approved, the renovation process will kick start.
