Paradip, Jan 4: On the last day of industrialist Mahima Mishra’s remand period, a joint team of Angul police, Paradip ASP and Paradip IIC conducted a long interrogation of Mishra based on the firing case at Jalaram Transport in Angul. In connection to the murder of Seaways Shipping GM Mahendra Swain’s, the Paradip police has already interrogated Mishra once and since Jan 1, he is on remand. In connection to the 1995 Abduction case, the Crime Branch of Odisha police grilled the Industrialist and Managing Director of Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL), Mahimananda Mishra yesterday. Yesterday, two senior CB officials arrived here to interrogate Mishra. It’s stated that the CB officials demanded to know Mishra’s links with the 1995 case, also whether there was any sort of rivalry between OSL and JM Bakshi Company and the controversies surrounding stevedoring business during that time.
