Bhubaneswar, Apr 14: Just a day being left before the grand premiere of BJP National Executive Meet, the saffron party is leaving no stone unturned to make the event a memorable one and at the same time in impressing the people of Odisha. They have now proposed to give a new name to the meeting venue, Janata Maidan and name it as Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi ground in remembrance of Odisha’s legendary poet. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today announced this to media here.
Pradhan stated that Odisha has been decided to be the PM’s testing centre where all the centrally-sponsored welfare schemes for the backward people of Odisha will be implemented here first.
Also, he made an important announcement that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will not be able to attend the party’s national executive meeting here due health problems.
