Bhubaneswar: A Jatra actress has allegedly been thrashed in Odisha. Accordingly, a complaint has been filed at the Women’s Police Station in the capital city of Odisha on Monday. The victim Jatra actress has been identified as Mamuni Sadangi.
As per the complaint, Anant Narayan Dhal, owner of Tulsi Gananatya and Ashok Samrat, has been accused of assaulting her. The actress has accused the Jatra owner of assaulting her and threatening her for asking for the unpaid money. Actress Mamuni Sadangi says she was beaten up at Baliapal Camp in Balasore.
The complaint shows that she was beaten up by persons engaged by Dhal. According to police investigation, another yatra artist had earlier filed a similar complaint against the Jatra owner.
Regarding the above allegations as we tried to contact the said Jatra owner, he could not be available to give and response. Police are contacting the yatra owner to investigate this complaint.
