Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: An important meeting regarding the coastal security of Odisha was held in the State Secretariat on Tuesday.
A joint exercise will be held on February 24 and 25, said Home Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy.
“Navy, Coast Guard, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Marine Police will take part in the exercise,” informed Coast Guard Commandant, DIG, Sanjib Deewan.
Notably, Odisha has a 480 km long coastline which is vulnerable and the security agencies are on their toes to ward off any infiltration bid by anti-nationals and terror groups.
