Cuttack, Apr 22: Crossing the NH 55 road early today near the Balisuniamuha under Khuntuni range, a heard of wild elephants disrupted the traffic moment for hours thus creating problem for the travellers.
As of sources, nearly 18 elephants while crossing the NH, gave a break and stood on the road for sometime. The forest officials after reaching the spot, were successful in driving them away, said sources.
Notably the herd of jumbos entered the Gurudijhatia College premises early today. After being informed, the forest officials reached the spot and drove them away, but moving out the college, the herd took another halt, that too on the NH.
