Gen Z Post Office reimagines a traditional post office into a vibrant space with the best of the facilities, including a work café, a “Book-booth” stacked with books and board games, and artworks painted by students of the institute, capturing the essence of Bengaluru, India Post, and the Acharya Institute.

The interiors reflect work café aesthetics, with free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, charging points for laptops and mobile devices, and a coffee vending machine, creating a student-centric space that encourages both productivity and social interaction.

A Self-Booking Kiosk and QR code-enabled instant payment options are available to enhance ease of use and digital payments, and to support the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) spirit of the Gen Z audience. Visitors can have personalized stamps printed at the “MyStamp” counter at the Gen Z Post office, adding a modern twist to India Post’s heritage of commemorative philately.

The office was officially inaugurated at Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, on December 17 2025, by Mr Prakash, IPoS, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Postal Circle, in the presence of Dr Bhagirathi V, Director (Academics), Acharya Group of Institutions. A picture postcard with a special cancellation signifying the event was also released during the event.
