Athagarh: Devotees are seen thronging to the Dhabaleswar pitha here as today marks the third Monday of the auspicious month of Kartik. The devotees are seen standing in queues to offer prayers and seek blessings of Baba Dhabaleswar with great enthusiasm.
The morning rituals of Baba Dhabaleswar is started from 4:00am. Baba Dhabaleswar is bathed with 108 pots of floral water and decorated. Soon after the doors are opened for devotees to visit the idol. For peaceful darshan of the Lord arrangements have been done by the temple administration.
It is believed that offering prayers to Baba Dhabaleswar frees devotees of their sins.
