KB Singh to succeed Odisha DGP Marik

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Odisha government on Saturday appointed 1985 batch IPS officer Kanwar Brajesh Singh as the new Director General of Police (DGP).

Singh is presently the director of State Vigilance.

Incumbent DGP Sanjeev Marik proceeded on leave prior to his retirement towards the end of this month.

The State government also appointed YB Khurania as Director of State Vigilance and 1982 batch IPS officer Binay Behera as DG (Home Guard & Fire Services).

SM Narvane has been appointed the Director of Biju Patnaik State Police Academy.
