Kejriwal sacks Minister on graft charge, calls meeting to warn AAP MLAs

New Delhi: In order to set an image before others in dealing with corruption in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called up a meeting to warn all the AAP MLAs and their families against corruption after sacking his own cabinet minister Asim Khan yesterday.

The meeting will be held on Sunday evening to take a class of the MLAs warning them against corrupt practices.

Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal said, “Meeting all MLAs, with families, tomo eve. To remind them why we came in politics. To warn them that Asim Khan episode shud not happen again”.

He sacked Food and Civil Supplies Minister Asim Ahmed Khan on charges of corruption, setting a record in Indian politics. In an audio tape, the Asim was heard demanding Rs 6 lakh from a builder.

The motive behind the move is to give a message to BJP take stern action against Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje.
