Kodingamali mines to provide bauxite to Vedanta’s Lanjigarh alumina factory

Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: The State Government on Wednesday decided to provide bauxite to Vedanta’s Lanjigarh alumina factory from the Kodingamali mines in Koraput through Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), informed Mines minister Prafulla Mallick.

He further said that five mines-four limestone mines and one manganese mine will be auctioned by the end of August or September first. The five mines that would be auctioned are located at Kotameta and Usakalabhagu in Malkangiri district, one in Garamara in Nuapada district, Jampali in Bargarh distirct and a manganese mine at Lasarda Pacheri in Keonjhar district.
