Anandpur, Nov 16:  The District Administration has taken out prohibitory orders under Sec 144 to prevent the occurrence of any unfortunate incident in the third trial of resuming the construction work of a new bridge on the Kusei River near Belabahali village of Anandpur sub division in Keonjhar.

It’s stated that vast security safety has been let out at the area as protection measures, which includes around 18 platoons of armed forces which have been deployed near the site to ensure smooth work. Yesterday, regarding the same, the district collector, SP and other administrative officials held a meeting.

However, protest from Belabahali villagers and nearby villages are still on against the decision of the NHAI and the district administration which says to construct a new bridge on NH-215. While the villagers were hoping that their demand would be fulfilled and adhered to, a new notification regarding the construction of a new bridge was issued by the Centre on June 15, thus smashing down all kindled hopes of the villagers.
