Nabarangpur, Jan 3: On Monday, the forest official, after being informed by the locals, recovered a dead body of a leopard from Rashpur forest, Nabarangpur.
Interestingly, on Sunday, a man named Rupasingh Ganda of Tariadihi village was attacked by a leopard while grazing cattle in the forest and locals had suspected this was the same leopard that had attacked Ganda. However, Ganda who sustained injuries in the attack was admitted to the Hatabharandi Community Health Centre (CHC). The Forest officials are investigating the reason behind the death of the leopard.
