Soro, July 30: Lighting claimed three lives and a woman leaving her as seriously injured in Soro area in Balasore district.
As per reports, Ajaya Jena (26) and Padmolochan Jena of Angula village were struck by lightning while they were working on the field and died on the spot. The third person, Gajendra Patra (56), also died due to lightening in the Jagannathpur village.
Doctors at the Soro Community Health Centre (CHC) said that the condition of the woman belonging to Basta area, who was seriously injured in lightning, is critical.
