Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: Considering health grounds of Industrialist Mahima Mishra and Associate Basant Bal, the duo who were to be taken on a remand for interrogation today, has been postponed till January 1 by the Paradip Police.
On the charges of murder of Mahendra Swain, General Manger of Seaways shipping company, the duo were scheduled to be taken today on a remand for 4 days.
It may be noted that, three accused named Mahima Mishra, Basant Bal and Bapi Sarkhel were hospitalised yesterday following their weak health condition. However, after treatment Mahima Mishra and Bapi Serkhel were sent back to Samagol jail and Chowdwar Jail respectively. Yesterday, Bal was shifted from Jagatsinghpur district headquarters to SCB Medical college and hospital as his health condition worsened.
