Bansapala: In a tragic accident a motorcyclist died after falling from an Under Construction Bridge at Kaipur on National Highway 49, Bansapala block, Sadar police station, Kendujhar district. The deceased has been identified as Munna Khuntia of Mardanga Jodi village under Sadar police station.
The bike was found under the center of a half-built bridge, while the young men was found bleeding on the road today. According to reports, Munna Khuntia, a resident of Mardanga Jodi village, fell from an under construction bridge on NH49 road late last night while crossing the road. His bike fell from the under construction bridge, and he died.
The construction company, Montecarl, has been given the contract of the bridge, and accidents occur every day because there are no signboards or barricades on either side of the road. As a result, drivers and pedestrians are often left stranded on the road. Locals have demanded compensation for the dead men’s family as well as quick completion of the bridge.
