Rayagada, Apr 6: After the Doikalu railway station blast incident done by the suspected Maoists nearly a week ago here, today the left wing extremists once again gave out fresh warnings to the people, the tribal here and of the neighbouring districts including people of Vedanta and Niyamgiri hills through posters that stated that they oppose the BJP national executive meet and the coming of PM Narendra Modi. Odisha State Committee of CPI (Maoist) had posted two hand written posters which were found stuck on a tree at Sikarpai here. One of the posters read “Oppose Modi’s visit to Odisha on Apr 14,15 and his Land Acquisition Act”. Another poster had threat lines for the security forces against combing operations in the Maoist infested forests. They Maoists also alleged Rayagada SP for bribing the tribal youth with money to become police informers and thus asked the SP to refrain from such activities.
