Bhubaneswar, March 10: Former DGP Sanjeev Marik has been issued a notice by the city Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court on Wednesday to be present before it on March 11.
The court has ordered Marik to appear in the court to present his side on the case filed by him.
Marik had filed a criminal defamation case under Sections 500, 501 and 502 of IPC in the Bhubaneswar SDJM Court against former IG Anadi Sahu on March 1.
Sahu had made some shocking allegations against Marik having links with Sushil and Sushant Dhalasamant. Marik had denied the allegations and had warned Anadi to file a case against him.
A notice had been issued to Anadi on Monday by the SDJM Court, to attend the case hearing on April 5.
