Matric Examination Begins In Odisha From Today
Cuttack / Bhubaneswar: April 29: Matriculation, Madhyama, and State Open School Certificate examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (Board) have started today.
After a gap of two years, students sat for the tests in offline mode. A total of 5,71,909 students will be appearing for the High School Certificate exam while 9378 and 4443 students will write for the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSC) and Madhyama examinations, respectively.

According to the new schedule, all exams will be held in the first sitting, i.e. between 8 am and 10 am. The board said it would open the test center on the first day at 7 a.m. and the second day from 9:15 a.m. The students will be given a questionnaire 15 minutes before the start of the test, i.e. at 7:45 am.
The Class 10 exams are being held at a total of 3540 centres – 3203 centres for HSC, 215 for SOSC and 122 for Madhyama exam.
As reported, 38 special squads have been constituted to check malpractice and ensure smooth conduct of the upcoming matriculation examination 2022 (Summative Assessment-II) across the State.
