Bolangir: June 09: Members of Odisha Diploma Engineers Service Association (ODESA) met the Bolangir Collector Arindam Dakua on Sunday and submitted a memorandum. They demand a secure work environment for them and stringest action against Patnagarh MLA Saroj Meher and Executive Engineer of Kantabanji Lokanath Mishra.
ODESA representatives also said, they will go for pen down agitation.
Collector Dakua has said, he will apprise the state government about the facts of the incident and further action will be taken accordingly.
This seems, Patnagarh MLA Saroj Meher may be in trouble further.
The video clip, which had gone viral, shows Meher pointing out the poor quality of road in his constituency and asking the JE Sabar to do 100 sit-ups. Even Executive Engineer of Kantabanji, Lokanath Mishra, had allegedly slapped Sabar in full public view.
