Phulbani, Oct 29: The police arrested a minor boy for raping a six-year-old girl at Phulbani in Odisha’s Kandhamal district. Although the incident happened on Wednesday, the girl’s family lodged a complaint on Thursday and the minor boy was arrested promptly, informed Uma kanta Pradhan, the IIC Town Police Station, Phulbani.
It’s stated that the boy aged 14 lured the girl who was his friend to a dilapidated house on the river Pilla saluki and raped her there. As the girl raised an alarm, an old woman of the locality rescued her and handed her to the family. The mother of the victim lodged a FIR with Town police, Phulbani. The police has registered a case regarding this.
