New Delhi: January 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will function from the makeshift PMO at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital when the BJP holds its two-day National Council on January 11 and 12.
“As Prime Minister will remain present on both the days of national council meeting, a temporary Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is being setup at the venue from where he may attend his routine work,” Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) co-incharge Tarun Chugh said. The temporary office will have all the facilities as required for the PMO.
He also said that another temporary office for party national president Amit Shah is also being setup.
“Wi-Fi connectivity will be available in entire area. Not only this, separate lounge has been setup for the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Minister of the BJP ruled states,” Chugh said.
Besides Chugh, Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretaries Anil Jain, P. Murlidhar Rao, Delhi BJP general secretaries Rajesh Bhatia, Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Ravinder Gupta inspected the preparations being made for the meeting.
The two-day national council meeting will be attended by the BJP’s elected representatives, leaders, delegates and office- bearers numbering about 12,000.(IANS)
