Bhubaneswar, July 1: Thundershower is likely to occur in places over coastal Odisha and over interior Odisha because of the low pressure formed over West Central and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal and South Odisha, North Andhra Pradesh Coast, as per sources.
According to a release being issued, the low pressure is now located over Northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast.
The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level. All fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over both coastal and interior Odisha in the next 24 hours.
