Bhubaneswar: October 10: Lipika Seth of Baragarh district of Odisha scaled Mount Elbrus the highest peak in Russia. After scaling Mount Elbrus, she sang the national anthem. Mount Elbrus,the peak in Russia, has an elevation of 5,642 m.
Odisha-born mountaineer Lipika Seth belongs to Dalab village of Bargarh district of Odisha and she is the daughter of Lakshman and Anusaya Seth.
Mount Elbrus expedition, which had started on September 28, has concluded on October 8. Participants from several countries took part in this expedition.
