Puri: A speed boat reportedly capsized during water sports at the sea beach of Puri in Odisha on Sunday evening. The incident took place in front of Hotel Sonar Bangla near the lighthouse of the beach.
Former Indian captain and star cricketer Sourav Ganguly’s elder brother and sister-in-law reportedly lost their balance in the deep sea due to a big wave during the water sports game, and the speed boat capsized.
As per reports, while tourists were doing water sports on a speed boat, the speed boat capsized in the deep sea at sea beach in Puri Sunday evening.
However, the quick action of the lifeguards present at the beach saved the lives of four innocent tourists who had fallen victim to the speed boat capsize.
It has been alleged that the speedboat lost its balance and capsized in the deep sea due to the inexperienced employees of the speedboat water sports services company. The rescued tourist has demanded that the district administration impose a freeze on the business of the company that is playing with the lives of tourists for the sake of money.
