Bhubaneswar: May 19: Chief Minister of Odisha dedicated 10 lakh pucca houses to the beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister of Odisha said, ‘10 lakhs pucca houses have been constructed in two years’ time for our people living in rural area. It is a record achievement in the entire country.’ While dedicating the houses, he added, ‘I am confident, as per our commitment we will convert all Kachcha houses into Pucca houses.’
Criticising BJD and Government, BJP spokesperson Samir Mohanty said, ‘ The credit does not go to State Government alone, the’ total houses constructed under the BPGY and Indira Awas Yojana (IAY), the state government bears 19 percent of the total cost while the remaining 81 percent is borne by the Centre.
