Bhubaneswar, Oct 11: Naveen Patnaik met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today at New Delhi to invite him to attend the ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave organised by the State Government in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) of Government of India that will be held in Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 2.
After the meeting, Patnaik addressed the media persons and said that apart from inviting the Union Finance Minister for the conclave, a demand to take immediate measures to take care of financial losses incurred to Odisha due to implementation of Good and Service Tax (CST) and to take steps to recover losses suffered by state exchequer due to cancellation of auction of Talabera – I mines, has been put forward in front of the Union Finance Minister.
