Sundargarh, Apr 11: Today early morning a newspaper hawker named MD Rajak was run over by a speeding 10 wheeler truck near the Kutra bus stand on the Sambalpur-Rourkela NH-10. The truck driver fled. Villagers of Kutra here have blocked the National Highway 10 protesting death in the road accident. They are demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased and also a construction of an underground road. After getting information, police rushed to the spot and pacified the angry mob.
