Puri, Sept 13: The confiscation process of properties belonging to 5 wanted servitors- Damodar Mahasuar, Jayakrushna Mahasuar, Saina Khuntia, Bhimshen Palankdhari and Ipsit Pratihari, involved in the dispute during the Niladri Bije ritual of Lord Jagannath and his siblings began today after they failed to surrender before police by the deadline set for September 12.
The PKDA, sub-collector, Tehsildar and Bank have been asked to furnish details of the movable and immovable properties registered in the names of the concerned 5 servitors through a letter sent by the SP. This was informed by the Additional SP Jagannath Pradhan who also said that the police will apply with the SDJM court seeking permission to attach their properties after the details of the properties belonging to the 5 concerned servitors are received.
