Bhubaneswar: June 04: Noted actor and comedian Salil Mitra passed away at a private hospital of Bhubaneswar last night.
The Ollywood actor was critically injured in an accident after his car overturned near Ghatagaon college square of Keonjhar district on May 12 and undergoing treatment at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS). He was initially admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and later shifted to the private hospital.
Fifty Two years old Salil is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Actors, Actresses, Producers, Directors and eminent personalities from various fields flooded his residence to pay last respects to the departed soul.
Salil Mitra has acted in many films and Television Serials of Odisha. He had made his debut with Film ‘Pua Bhangi Dela Suna Sansara’ in 1999.
