Cuttack: May 27: Odisha Cricket Association appointed Debasis Mohanty, former Indian fast bowler as the head coach of Odisha Ranji team. Debasis will replace Shiv Sundar Das, the former Indian Batsman and Das will be the new technical director of the Odisha Cricket Academy.
Debasis Mohanty had replaced Australian Michael Bevan in 2011 and continued his stint till August 2017. Mohanty has played two tests and 45 one day Internations for the Country.
Suresh Kumar has been appointed as the coach of U-23 cricket team and Niranjan Behera becomes the coach the U-19 team. Rashmita Mohanty will continue as the coach of Odisha Women’s senior team.
