Odisha: Alliance Air begins its services from Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: June 05: Alliance Air started its operation at Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda. It’s Flight connecting Bhubaneswar and Raipur started its operation from today

It was scheduled to start its operation at the Airport from June 1, under Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) Regional Connectivity Scheme. But, it got delayed due to some official reasons.

Odisha Health & Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das, Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Usha Padhee witnessed the inaugural programme.

While speaking to Media, Odisha Health & Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das said, ‘Today is a good day for all of us. We shall all put our effort for the development of Jharsuguda. We shall provide all sorts of help for the development of Airport’.

Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari said, “It will be our efforts in coming days to make Jharsuguda Airport the number 1 in Odisha. We shall request the authorities of Air India and Ministry of Civil Aviation to start flight operations from the city to Bengaluru and Mumbai.
