CUTTACK, OCT 17: Host Odisha came from behind to trounce Group-A table toppers Assam by eight wickets on the penultimate day of the third-round Ranji Trophy match at Barabati Stadium here today. With this win, the first in three matches, Odisha gained six points to increase their total to eight.
Basant Mohanty’s five-for which played a vital role in Odisha’s win over Assam, was adjudged ‘Man of the Match’. Mohanty also claimed three wickets in Assam first innings.
