Odisha Boy Chandan Nayak selected to be trained at ‘Bayern Munich’ in Germany

Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: Odisha Boy Chandan Nayak has been selected to get training at “Bayern Munich”, the iconic football club in Germany.

The 11-year old football player stays at Sabar Sahi Slum in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. His mother Duhita Nayak, who is working as a maid servant, said that, her prayers brought glory to her son.

Chandan’s coach, Jayadev Mohapatra’s happiness knows no bounds after this amazing achievement by his student. The overwhelmed coach also praised Chandan’s hard work and incredible skills on field.

It should be noted that, the Bayern Munich Junior Team was founded in 1902. It has produced some of Europe’s top football players, including Owen Hargreaves, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Müller and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
