Bhubaneswar, January 1: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today met Governor Dr SC Jamir at the Raj Bhavan here and wished him on the New Year.
Before heading towards Puri for a darshan of Lord Jagannath, the Chief Minister visited the Raj Bhavan and offered bouquet to the Governor and the first lady there.
The Chief Minister will now visit to Puri to have a darshan of the deities and also offer floral tribute to the Samadhi of legendary Biju Patnaik at the Swrgdwar. Adequate security arrangements have been made for the visit of the Chief Minister to Puri.
Chief Minister extended greeting to the people of the State. Patnaik also greeted people through twitter and prayed for the well being and prosperous of the people on Thursday
