Bhubaneswar: March 28: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced assistance for Street Vendors of 114 Urban areas as they are in problems due to nationwide lockdown to prevent spread of COVID-19.Each Street Vendor shall get an assistance of Rs.3000 and Chief Minister said, this will help 65000 registered street vendors in the State.
Also, Odisha Government shall provide cooked food to poor people in the rural areas. 100 to 200 persons in every panchayat shall get cooked food everyday and this will be managed by SHGs. As announced, Poor People can also take cooked food to their home and have it. By this, around 10 lakh people will be benefited.
