Odisha CM distributes Smart Health Card in Bolangir District

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik distributed the smart health card under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Bolangir District on Wednesday.

Inaugurating an event at Titlagarh, Chief Minister extended Nuakhai greetings to the people of the district and briefed the benefits of Smart Health Card. The first beneficiary of the district to be awarded with Smart Health Card was Sarojini Bahidar. 4.5 lakh families of the district shall be benefited with smart health card.

Also, Chief Minister dedicated various development projects worth Rs.200 crore in Bolangir district on Wednesday and also laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs.597 crore.

Smart Health Card was launched in Malkangiri on August 20.

As announced, the Smart Health Card will be provided to 3.5 crore people of 96 lakh families. Each family can avail treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. Women members can avail this benefit up to Rs 10 lakh every year.
