Bhubaneswar: February 19: Five people were killed in a tragic accident at Saraskana in Mayurbhanj district. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the incident. 4 of them are residents of Odisha and the other one is a resident of Jharkhand. He extended his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and announced Rs 2 Lakh relief for victims‘ families.

On the night of February 18,  member of the Dhabuk (Dhumsa) dance troupe were returning to Bagabuda on a tractor after completing the Saraswati Puja program at Murunia under Jharpokhari police station, Mayurbhanj district.

The tractor overturned near Dhipasahi. Four people died at the scene and another died while undergoing treatment.
