Bhubaneswar: August 6: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spoke to the Indian Women’s Hockey Team through VC today and congratulated them for putting up a brave fight against Britain.
Congratulating the Indian Hockey Team, Naveen said, ‘You have all put your full effort…played well also. You got defeated from Britain Hockey Team, but you all won our hearts….’
Naveen also said, ‘Be happy. You have all plenty of time ahead…Be happy…go on fighting…’
Indian Women’s Hockey Team Captain Rani Rampal also thanks Naveen Patnaik and said, ‘You have also helped us a lot in our journey’.
She also praised Odisha for its effort in organising many international tournaments and sponsoring the team.’
