Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Wherein on one side the BJP and Congress has called for a bandh in Malkangiri, on the other side, Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik will be visiting the district today. He will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for various projects in the district. On visiting the district, Patnaik will also review the Japanese Encephalitis situation and steps taken to neutralize JE there.

However, following the bandh called by BJP and Congress, the security arrangement have been tightened by the police ahead of the CM’s visit. Security arrangement at the CM’s meeting place has also been inspected by the Inspector General, RP Koche and Mitrabhanu Mahapatra SP. Moreover, around 32 platoons of police force have been deployed to avoid any unwanted situation during the meet. For security reason, around 10 Congress activists and Party President have been detained by the police.
