Bhubaneswar, Nov 9: Odisha’s Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik has whole heartedly welcomed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s announcement of craping the notes of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 as legal tender. Patnaik himself informed this to the media.
Across the globe, there have been policy changes to demonetise higher value currency notes to check terror funding. He expresses his concern as well as his happiness over this bold move of Modi. He also pointed out that three days for allowing old currency in hospital is too short for critical and costly treatment. He further went on to say that the Union government should also bring in a reformation in the institutional and legal framework, seek better tax compliance and set up transparent trade regimes so that the culprits do not flee away.
